Food is the major culprit for adding weight and you have to take concious efforts to reduce the amount of calories you ingest.

These Nigerian Soups are easy to prepare and the best news is they keep your calorie intake in check.

They are:-

OKRO SOUP

Can be eaten with Amala, Wheat flour, Eba, Plantain flour, Oats flour, Tuwo  (not in large quantities)

 

 

EWEDU SOUP

Can be eaten with Amala, Wheat flour, Eba, Plantain flour, Oats flour, Tuwo  (not in large quantities)

 

PLAIN EFORIRO/ VEGETABLE SOUP( with a little oil)

Can be eaten with Amala, Wheat flour, Eba, Plantain flour, Oats flour, Tuwo, Rice, Yam, Agidi (Solid Pap)  (not in large quantities)

 

PEPPER SOUP

Can be eaten with Rice, Yam, Boiled Plantain, Agidi (Solid Pap) etc

 

BLACK SOUP( Commonly prepared in the South South part of Nigeria

Can be eaten with Rice, Yam, Boiled Plantain, Agidi (Solid Pap) etc

 

No matter how the soup is paired, please note that you have to keep the main meal in check too. Take small quantities of Rice, Yam , preferred Swallow etc. Drink a lot of water and you will see results in no time.
