With every bikini picture she takes, Kourtney Kardashian’s abs only seem to get better. Her flat stomach’s definitely due in part to her and Khloe’s regularly-Snapchatted workouts with trainer Don, but as the saying goes, abs are made in the kitchen, so we know she’s eating something right.
Lucky for us, she’s down to share her secrets with her fans by way of her app. In a recent post, Kourtney wrote that she swears by green tea to keep her mid-section so toned. It also gives her the caffeine boost she needs to keep up with kids Mason, Penelope and Reign — Kourtney gave up coffee in her twenties because it made her “really hyper and really on edge.”
She also says it helps diminish cellulite: “Whenever I am trying to step up my workout regimen, I drink an extra iced green tea. I swear it makes my tummy flatter. Also, green tea can help reduce the signs of cellulite.”
Some studies have shown that the antioxidants in green tea can have a small effect on metabolism and can definitely aid in weight loss if you’re drinking lots of sodas or fruit juices and then replace them with lower-calorie tea. If you really want to boost your metabolism, nutritionists recommend lifting weights and incorporating more strength-training into your fitness routine.
