Move over Kylie, Kim Kardashian’s makeup line estimated to make $14m in five minutes
With her clothing and accessories line, fragrance collection and wildly successful video game app, it seemed like only a matter of time before Kim Kardashian West added a cosmetics line to her ever-growing list of fashion and beauty entrepreneurial endeavors.
Kim’s Creme Contour & Highlight Kits, which cost £37.51 (about N16,000), go on sale on Wednesday and are expected to make $13-14 million within five minutes, according to industry sources.
The expectations are partly based on the sales of Kim’s collaboration with sister Kylie back in April when their lipstick set took over and garnered $13.5m in sales.
An expert at building buzz online, Kim started teasing the KKW Beauty line to her 101 million Instagram followers last week, leading up to the launch its website.
