Ace Nigerian actor, Richard Mofe Damijo popularly called RMD, is doing a good job of encouraging his many adoring fans by sharing some of his personal struggles and destroying the myth that age is an inhibiting factor in pursuing your dreams.

The 55-year-old grandfather who is the toast of many movie makers and audiences all over the world revealed in an inspirational post that like many people, he’s had his fair share of worries and uncertainty about returning to the movie making business, especially given his age and inactivity during his eight-year hiatus on account of a political appointment with Emmanuel Uduaghan’s administration in Delta State.

The former Delta State Commissioner for Arts and Culture, kicked the age-long myth of being “too old to pursue your dreams”  by citing himself as a living testament, evidenced by his continued appearance on our screen and adoration of millions of fans.

“Let’s take some time to revisit the “you’re too old to go for your dreams” myth. Yea, it’s a myth and if anyone tries to convince you otherwise, tell them to take a good look at me,” he started off his admonition.

Continuing with his message, RMD pointed out that his sex appeal, swag and everything working for him to God.

The thing you call swag, sex appeal, charisma…you name it, is the GLORY OF GOD…It is by His special grace that at 55 rapidly going on 56, I am blessed to live my dreams in health and sound mind“.

He then proceeded to encourage everyone that it was never too late to either start on their dreams or try again with these words of wisdom:

“Today, I encourage you to conquer your fears, worries, doubts, uncertainties and go with God. Go for your dreams… it’s never too late to start, never to late to try again… #RMDSaysSo #JustDoIt #TrustGod #GoWithGod #StayPositive #Believe #WednesdayWisdom”.

Waiting for a reason to get back out there and pursue that goal? There you have it. If RMD can do it, so can you.
